Court fees are set to rise next week. There will be a significant hike in the fees for many claims, with a fee of 5% of the value of the claim for those over £10,000 (subject to a maximum fee of £10,000).
The move, which has now been approved by Parliament, will doubtless be a further impediment to access to justice for many potential claimants.
